2020 IFBB Pro League Arizona Pro Figure
(Scottsdale, Arizona - Dec. 5, 2020)
One of the most prestigious events on the IFBB Pro League Calendar is the Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix Championships, an all Women's show
with its centerpiece as Bodybuilding but featuring the other major categories as part of the Arizona Pro. Despite the ups and downs of 2020
and moving the show to December, it still closely preceded the Olympia and drew a stellar field of IFBB Pros! In Figure, the Top 2 did indeed
qualify for the Olympia, placing 8th and 12th respectively. The winner here was Arizona's own Carly Starling-Horrell, a very popular choice
from the small (because of you know what) but vocal audience. Gilbert, Arizona is a hotbed of talent in the sport. It's the home of
Pro Physiques Gym, co-owned by Damian Segovia and IFBB Fitness Pro Whitney
Jones. Carly's husband, Justin Horrell coincidentally coached the Overall Figure Champion at the USA's the following weekend...a huge
thanks to the gym for hosting our post show shoot with Stephanie Gibson, who considers Carly a mentor of hers. There's coverage of

Placing 2nd, the other Olympian Julia Waring. This reporter recalls her competing at the Vancouver Pro Show
in 2019 (2nd place to Anna Banks). She's further tightened her look onstage, great job here!
Kentucky's Autumn Cleveland placed 3rd, followed by Mexico's Queren Pacheco. Lean Jill Braxmeyer placed
5th, with Felecia Harris rounding out the top 6. A variety of physique types throughout this show, but
the quality was top notch.
As part of our travels to single category IFBB shows, Figure
is certainly high on that list if the timing and opportunity arise. As alluded to in our Bikini coverage of this
event, we hope to be covering more of these events in the Western USA going
forward, it's just a short hop from our home base of Vancouver, B.C. The bulk of our photos at these events
