2020 IFBB Pro League Arizona Pro Women's Physique
(Scottsdale, Arizona - Dec. 5, 2020)
One of the most prestigious events on the IFBB Pro League Calendar is the Wings of Strength Rising Phoenix Championships, an all Women's show
with its centerpiece as Bodybuilding but featuring the other major categories as part of the Arizona Pro. Despite the ups and downs of 2020
and moving the show to December, it still closely preceded the Olympia and drew a stellar field of IFBB Pros! The one competitor who did
venture onward was Trish Wood, placing 10th here. Some very shredded competitors led the way here, Arizonan Melissa Teich looked flawless
onstage as did most everybody else...a well prepped field. Of note was 4th placer Claudia Diaz, we've covered her ever since her Overall win
at Emerald Cup continuing on to receiving her Pro Card at the Vancouver Pro, etc. She keeps getting better and better! Hopefully we'll be
back to this show in 2021, it really was a great experience.

Was also great to see Jessica Martin from just down the I5 from us in the Bellingham, WA. area. She held her own
with the 'big gals'. It's deceiving onstage as running into her during USA's coaching clients, etc. didn't
recognize her at first, a more 'relaxed' post show look.
As part of our travels to single category IFBB shows, Women's Physique is certainly high on that list if the timing
and opportunity arise. As alluded to in our Bikini coverage of this
event, we hope to be covering more of these events in the Western USA going forward, it's just a short hop from
our home base of Vancouver, B.C. The bulk of our photos at these events (including all on this page)
have been published by muscleinsider.com, an industry
leader in covering ALL aspects of the sport! Direct links to WPD Prejudging and Finals are listed below. This
is merely a summary report to acknowledge this great event and highlight the top placers!

A huge thanks to the Promoters at
Wings of Strength and Tim Gardner Productions.
They went above and beyond in terms of their hospitality and the responsible way the event was held, from the audience, competitors, staff and media protocols to
the spectacular stage and lighting presentation!
(Please notify me of any placing or name spelling errors, thanks.)
