2015 British Columbia Provincial
Bodybuilding, Fitness, Physique, Figure, & Bikini Championships
(Vancouver, B.C. - May 23, 2015)
In a big change for the British Columbia Amateur Bodybuilding Association, this prestigious event moved to the splendor of
the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in downtown Vancouver. Along with qualifying Top 5's (rather than 3) from 1st Level
shows, made for a record entry of over 280 competitors. The show was promoted by the BCABBA itself under the
auspices of Dawn Alison and the Executive. Thanks to the many hours put in to make this event possible and of
course the many volunteers who are passionate about the sport!

Starting with Bikini, Harpreet Pandher continued on her winning ways from a week earlier's Northern Classic. She has
a Pro Look about her...can't see this roll stopping! A pleasure to follow her progress, a nice photoshoot as well
between the two events. Six open classes in all, very deserving winners! Other notables included the returns of Jamie
Baldo (9 months after having a baby) and Jennifer Mcrann placing well in both open and masters, and twins Renee Cooper and
Reani Sharp in different height classes, Renee qualifying for Nationals! Masters Overall went to the elegant Harj Hadani.

Men's Bodybuilding saw some hotly contested classes. Ashely Whittington brought a super detailed physique to the
Super Heavyweights and took the overall title. Kenny O'Neil won a very tough Heavyweight Class and Chris Davis brought
a classic look to take Middleweights. Lot's more! Figure was particularly impressive this year, 6 open classes in all.
Overall Open winner Amanda Kelly is taking symmetry and proportionality to new heights, can't wait to see what she
brings to the National stage! Of the non class winners, Andraea Adams was a perfect example of taking the
lessons learned from a week earlier's show (good photos are important) and adjusting accordingly to significantly
improve her stage presence.

Men's Physique saw a couple of the largest classes in the show, 4 open ones in all. Barsam Hamzehali took the overall
title, not only a great physique but has that marketability look going for him as well. The ladies did not suppress
their sentiments, especially at registration handing out 'goodie bags', lol. Women's Physique had 3 open classes with
a few additionaly doing Masters, a nice collection of friends together onstage in that category...one for the ages!
Just to add, there were Couples and Wheelchair classes in Bodybuilding this year, kudos to those athletes!
