2023 NPC Cascadian Classic Wellness Championships (Redmond, OR - May 27, 2023) Continuing with our Northwest coverage, the second stop on this road trip took us to Redmond, Oregon for the NPC Cascadian Classic, a long time staple of the Memorial Day Weekend. New venue for this event, kudos to Dominic Current and his team for an extremely well run show! Wellness had some true standouts, Overall Champion Frenchie Grandmaison had been quietly putting on size and 'going for it' since her last competitive efforts in Bikini...at just 21 years of age, crazy good future! Was great meeting and working with Heather Gardner (below) preceding the show...good wellness proportionality and looked very comfortable onstage. Lots of stage time winning Open 'B', Masters 35, Novice AND True Novice. Photoshoots were in order for both (plus outdoors with Hearher) at the host sponsoring gym Redmond Athletic Club, again huge thanks for accomodating us! Junior Division champion Jada Smith has great potential in the category as well, hope to see her progress in the sport! A huge thanks to Promoter Dominic Current and his crew.
