2014 Emerald Cup
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Bellevue, WA. - Apr. 25-26, 2014)
Another incredible Emerald Cup...a little change in the format so that the Bikini Classes were part of the 'regular' show and
highlighted as its popularity soars. Winning the overall was Heather Quinn with an amazing look that would not be out of place
on a Pro stage. Big things to come from her, a last minute gym shoot the next day capped a busy week! Other notables in bikini
included a greatly improved Vivian Aiello and the very tall Vancouver, USA Champ Jennifer Williams who's proportionality is
more typical of shorter competitors, nice job! And should also mention Heather's runner-up in her class, Leslie Barnett.

In the very photogenic department, short class competitors Megan Anderson and Nikki Neslund particularly stood out and as
always classy Nicole Darabi, sponsors
are you out there??
Figure had some very tight classes, but continuing her winning streak in both Figure AND Fitness, was Danielle Schemm...perfect
'frame' for the sport. Other notable class winners included the return of stunning Heidi Riegsecker to the stage and one of my favorite
photography subjects Sienne Allen (first beach shoot of the year the next day).

The Emerald Cup this year also featured Pro Divisions in Figure and Women's Physique, they're featured on a separate page. But far
from distracting from the amateurs it sparked more attention to these categories, some promising competitors looking to emulate
them. Notables in physique included class winners Natasha Grow, Angel Saucier and overall Champ Kellyn Huehn-Petersen with
flowing routines as were Rachel Gilmore and Oksana Balanyuk.

Lastly, loved the changed format of the event...more to come as time permits and a huge thanks as always to promoters Brad and Elaine
Craig (what would we do without them!). Official results, info on all the Northwest happenings at
Craig Productions.
