2019 Emerald Cup
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Bellevue, WA. - April 26-27, 2019)
The 37th annual Emerald Cup started out with a bang! Craig Productions certainly know how to put on a show, from guest performers to taking great care
of the athletes. Figure, Fitness, Men's Classic Physique and Women's Physique made up Day 1. Starting with Figure, a rich tradition of going on to earn
Pro Cards....the last five Overall winners were Janee Deacon, Inna Wyatt, Megan Estes, Svetlana Shchavinskaya and Danielle Schemm. Tricia Mowatt is in
that mold, nice proportionality, muscle size and shape. Runner-up in Overall Figure was Masters Champion Tashia Butler who has very successfully transitioned
from Bikini over the last couple years. 'F' Class winner Amanda Thompson brought her best package ever to contend for the title. This show attracts many from
out of the region, among them Veronica Rodriguez winning 'C' Class. A very competitive 'B' Class saw former WPD athlete Samantha Cowan taking the top spot.
Rounding out the class winners were Jonell Hernandez and Alaska's Shadra Green who also competed in Bikini this weekend.

Classic Physique is definitely gaining in popularity, 4 Open classes and 3 Masters age groups. Everyone got to perform their routines, one of the real advantages
to having this event over a two day period. Dominic Semenza took the Overall Open title. Fitness saw seven amazing competitors, top spot going to Amanda Ciani with
a crowd favorite ballet inspired routine. High spirited routines from Claire Grosvenor and Alaska's Kamarae Morales followed...Claire also entered bikini while
Kamarae took on Women's Physique as well!

Some very strong contenders in Women's Physique, a ridiculously stacked 'A' class. When impressive Angela Corbin is in 6th place, you know the competition was tough.
She and Corey Dobson (5th) were crossovers from Figure. In 4th was Sarah Oase (trained by IFBB Pro Inna Wyatt) who is steadily improving from show to show. The return
to the stage of Rae Anne Bettencourt netted her 3rd while Oregon's Kimberly Bickley (who had won the Empire Cup show a couple weeks earlier) placed 2nd. Top spot
went to Tina Brown, who was definitely looking ready for the next level. Photos speak for themselves (see Facebook link below). Open 'B' Class went to the ever improving
Patti Hanson, making for a spectacular Overall Round, Tina winning a split decision. Patti additionaly took the over 40 Masters class, placing ahead of Kimberly Bickley.
