2019 NPC Idaho Muscle Classic
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Garden City, ID - June 1, 2019)
Craig Productions puts on a number of shows throughout the year of various sizes, from the huge Emerald Cup to more intimate ones such as the Idaho Muscle Classic.
A truly unique venue, the Revolution Concert House was adorned with memorabelia and guitars along the walls from some greats who've performed there in the past.
On with the show starting with Bikini. 'B' Class winner Brittney Smith actually won this show 2 years earlier but that was then and this is now. Super shapely and conditioning on
point, it's a tall order to beat a former champ! 'A' Class "Blonde Bombshell" Molly Greer showed great personality onstage, everything matters! Of note from the earlier held
Empire Classic was promising teen competitor Renee Williams. She's got conditioning down to a science and improved on schedule from that show, tanning issues and the
subjectivity of the sport rewarding one look or another on a given weekend...a 5th place result but I'm sure we haven't heard the last from her, we've inluded a followup story
linked below. 'C' Class was persistence
personified with Kaylia Rhodes, a less than satisfying Emerald Cup show day look...leaned out nicely for the Cascadian Classic held on May 25 where she was up against some
very stiff competition so the placing belies her effort...and all coming together for a VERY well earned class win here, oozing confidence from the moment she was moved
to center stage. Kaylia's teammate, shapely Lauren Kralovec placed 2nd...quite the one two punch!
|
Other competitors of note included 'D' Class winner Katie Rambo and stunners Amanda Lanier and Natasha Peay placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Shay Marquetta, Lauren Sassadeck, Stacy Davis...
just to name a few who moved really well onstage. And of course, there's ageless Yvonne Aitken and teammate Shawn Gutierrez showing the kids how it's done!
Bodybuilding saw Ethan Monroe take the overall title. He also made the Overall round for Classic Physique but there is a difference in looks between the two, Ryan Coronado took that
title.

Figure always seems to force a choice between shape and definition. Open 'A' Class winner Hailey Laub had the whole package, seriously good potential to go far in this sport. Speaking of which,
while Sierra Bates didn't 'win' this time, refinements with her muscle shapes would no doubt bring her to the forefront. Olivia Romero also turned a few heads, kudos to Tamara Farber with her 35+
Masters Class win...and in the lean department was Figure Open 'B' champ Ashley Duncan looking polished onstage.
|
Rounding out the Men's categories were the very popular Classic and Men's Physique divisions, Ryan Romano taking the former and Victor Wong the latter.
A relatively small turnout in Women's Physique but outstanding routines and a deserving winner in Ashley Torok.

A huge thanks to the promoters, volunteers and the dedicated competitors who keep this sport growing.
The Pacific Northwest is a special place when it comes to the NPC community with everybody pitching in
to make each others' shows as successful as possible. It's a continued privilege to be able to
cover and publicize these shows for decades now.
We'll have more on the show here as time permits. Thanks for NOT cropping watermarks if reposting photos
on social media. Official results and further information
can be found at craigproductions.com.
