2023 NPC Idaho Muscle Classic Bikini Championships (Boise, Idaho - June 3, 2023) A real hotbed for the Bodybuilding and Fitness industry, Boise shows always bring up those on the cusp of greatness over the years. Promoters Craig and Ribic Productions put on well run events at great venues, the Revolution Concert House & Event Center is a VERY cool one! Large classes in Bikini, the quality was definitely there. This was the third Open Overall for Amelia Brito, a 'veteran' competitor kicking off a new season. Emma Herro brought her best look ever to the stage, took Open 'E' class and challenged for the Overall. Of note was Novice/Open competitor Taelor Hernandez, a great start to her competitive career, nice lines, shapes...lean look. Kelsey Pickle definitely improved in her look and presentation from a week earlier, a very deserving Open Class 'C' winner. Hot on her heels and also winning her Novice Class was Sierra Ward, super proportional, it was a close battle. Trailing them (what a tough class) was photogenic Junior Champion Rebekah Durgin...very comfortable onstage, great strides since competing here a year earlier. Lived up to the pre show 'hype'. Masters was a battle between Christine Sim (also did Wellness) and eventual winner Sara Roy. Close scores, the winner was the favorite to win Masters Overall, it went to Sara. Of note, a now Masters competitor Amber Roberson from Seattle, we last photographed her in 2015, a nice 'comeback'...good placings in both her Masters and Open Classes.
