2023 NPC Idaho Muscle Classic Wellness Championships (Boise, Idaho - June 3, 2023) A real hotbed for the Bodybuilding and Fitness industry, Boise shows always bring up those on the cusp of greatness over the years. Promoters Craig and Ribic Productions put on well run events at great venues, the Revolution Concert House & Event Center is a VERY cool one! Starting with Wellness, could not help being impressed by the quality of athletes here. First and foremost was Team EYP's Emily Kimball, a gymnast for 14 years since a very young age (now retired)...crazy solid foundation for the division, the sky's the limit! That being said, this was her first Bodybuilding show and savored every moment onstage...True Novice, Novice and Open Overall Champion. Her goal is Nationals later this year, they won't know what hit 'em. Needless to say, an ideal candidate for a Sunday photoshoot. Thanks to Mecca Gym for hosting us. Team Overby (sponsor of the IFBB/NPC Sasquatch Pro) brought a good team to Wellness, Angela Solvey took 'B' Class, a good showdown with Emily for Overalls! Of note was her teammate Hanna Dike, runner-up in 'A' Class, both had the 'look' for the category. Other teammate, Grace Lee while the only entrant in the Hero Division, brought a solid package to this show, 3rd place in that very strong 'A' Class. Inspirational Award for the Women's show went to Wellness competitor Brandi Beard, an over 100lb weight loss! A huge thanks to Craig and Ribic Productions and their crew.
