2024 NPC Idaho Muscle Classic Bikini Championships (Boise, Idaho - June 1, 2024) A real hotbed for the Bodybuilding and Fitness industry, Boise shows always bring up those on the cusp of greatness over the years. Promoters Craig and Ribic Productions put on well run events, the Expo Idaho in Garden City was the new venue. Good sized classes in Bikini, the quality was definitely there. Focused on that Overall title were the two competitors in 'C' and 'D' classes who only did the Open Classes...Callista Welling and Carlee Swenson and true to billing split center in the Overall Comparison Round. In the end, Carlee's elegant lines and great conditioning proved unbeatable. Masters Overall was won by Trish Carson, nice muscle shapes...she was the Over 45 AND 50 winner! Of note with her stage presence, narrowly missing first in the Over 40 Class was Heather Pratt, good placing in Open too. Speaking of stage presence, stunning Tawny Palmer (see below) battled for top spot in ALL classes she entered, garnering 1st place votes. Definitely caught our attention...someone to look out for to beautifully represent this sport. Other top placers who stood out were class winners Isabel Hamrick (see below) representing Boise Iron Gym and Melanie Snelson representing Team EYP. Both have a great future in this sport. Photogenic Isabel was a no-brainer for a post show Sunday gym shoot. In fact, a huge thanks to the area gyms for their hospitality including Boise Iron Gym, Mecca and Big Jon Fitness in Nampa with our follow up shoot from the Cascadian Classic with Shelby Smith.
