2023 NPC Legion Sports Fest Bikini Championships (Reno, Nevada - October 7, 2023) First time for this reporter/photographer to cover the Legion Sports Fest, ostensibly the IFBB Pro League divisions for Muscle Insider. Stumbling onto a VERY impressive NPC show was quite the bonus! Starting with Bikini, a full slate with 6 Open Classes for starters. While there were ample crossovers as per many shows, a few were there just for open and going for the gold. Foremost among them was Overall Champion Arin Cahee, nice lines and just the right amount of muscle definition for the category. Similarly were 'Open only' competitors Amy Selig and Josefine Holmberg. Of note was 'C' Class and Masters 35+ winner Amanda Williams, great stage presence...caught our attention right off the bat. Winning her Novice AND Open classes was Sophia Mahr, definitely one to watch down the road. Rounding out the open class winners was 'A' class PLUS Overall Novice Champion Brittany Mcallister, nice balanced physique! A huge thanks to the entire Center Podium crew and promoter Chris Minnes for putting on such a stellar event. An absolute pleasure to cover, hopefully we'll be back next year.
