2022 IFBB Sasquatch Pro Show
Figure Open, Masters 40+ & 45+

With the continued success of the IFBB Pro League and associated entities such as the NPC, CPA and NPC Worldwide, 2022 is seeing a record number of
Professional shows to cater to more and more top level competitors filling up the ranks of its members. Promoters Michele Mayberry and Chris Algeo
worked tirelessly to bring such a show to the Pacific Northwest, and thus was born the Sasquatch Pro! The inaugural event in conjunction with the
NPC Northern Classic attracted over 60 entries between Figure, Figure and their associated Masters Classes. The attention to detail and taking care
of the athletes, officials and all involved's needs was second to none. Bikini is on a separate page and as per usual, the content here will
be expanded over the next while.

Starting with Open Figure, 26 competitors in all (exactly like Bikini), quite the task for the very experienced judging panel led by Sandra Williamson. Quite
the variance in muscle size, definition,etc. but very much aesthetically pleasing proportionality was the goal. A good UK contingent, a definite WOW factor
with winner Rhea Gayle and 9th placer Megan Sylvester-Cielen. And then there's Americans Autumn Cleveland, Gabriela Consolmagno and Brittanee Johnson all
coming in conditioned. Plus Canadian veteran competitor Martina Yabekova looking phenomenal as well. For this reporter it was good to see many we've known
and photographed in the past take the stage. And then there's of course "skyscraper" Brittany Offers making an impression on the sport and Kamarae Morales
from Alaska enjoying the stage without the extra stress of a Fitness routine (her category of excellence...she's amazing at it}.

Masters classes (all did Open as well), featured Pacific Northwest "graduates" Tanya Palacios and Karrisa Otero-Hardgrove (Emerald Cup 2021)
so a good crowd on hand to cheer them on. Oh, and should have noted in our earlier report that the title sponsor of this event was Team Overby,
so many sponsors came together to make this show happen!
