This competition being a national qualifier has always had a quality field and this
year was no exception. I didn't really plan on as extensive a photo report but
just couldn't decide what to leave out! Lighting was especially strong during
the morning pre-judging so made for good picture taking. The show was held
at the Portland Art Museum (good-humored security guards kept the enthusiastic 
crowd away from the collections area), one of the many beautiful theaters located
in the downtown area. The contest was promoted by Bohm Productions, whose
next major show in the Portland area will be the 2001 Vancouver (Washington)
U.S.A. Natural Classic on April 7, 2001. There's a link on the Update page to the
