2018 IFBB Olympia
Women's Physique Division
(Las Vegas, NV - Sept. 15, 2018)
For the second year in a row, traveled to the Olympia ostensibly to photograph the Amateur Olympia for Muscle Insider, and was able
to take in a bit of the other festivities at the Expo including the Olympia Women's Physique Division just on the periphery but enough
to put together a report with photos. With the defending champion Juliana Malacarne NOT competing, the field was hungry to take that
top spot. With the perfect 'X' frame for figure and more muscle on top of it, Shanique Grant had the overall package/look to take 1st
place. Youngsters figured prominently, with Natalia Coelho and Daniely Castilho taking the next two spots respectively with veterans
Jennifer Taylor and Heather Grace next.

Of impressive note was 6th placer Michaela Aycock, with arguably the best biceps peaks at this show! An air of confidence in her posing
and demeanor onstage that has future champ written all over it. With a solid foundation at only 23 years of age, look out for her in the
future. She'll easily qualify to be back here in 2019. Among the next group were returnees from last year...Penpraghai Tiangngok added more
size and of course the artistry of Autumn Swansen couldn't be ignored. Also getting noticed with some sliced and diced legs and nice
proportionality was 11th placer Margita Zamolova of the Czech Republic.
