Recap - 2022 IFBB Vancouver Pro - Bikini Olympia Preview In anticipation of our coverage of the 2022 Olympia, we'll be spotlighting athletes as well as the divisions they represent. The 2022 IFBB Vancouver Pro (aside from 1st placer Susana Aramayo) featured two other athletes who would subsequently earn their Olympia qualification, Shelby Pierce and Laura Ziv. Both Susana and Laura had previously competed at the Amateur Olympia in 2017 and 2019 respectively where we photographed those shows as part of Muscle Insider's Olympia coverage. Definite improvements since then for both! The VanPro show itself has been extensively covered here (see the Contest Roundup page). We first had the pleasure of meeting Laura after a Musclecontest IFBB Pro show in Vegas (I was just a spectator) during a sizzling hot summer weekend, so was tough to shoot outdoors (we tried). Along with our friend IFBB Pro Milena Bonio, we did a short gym shoot the following day, huge thanks to Yak's Fitness! A year later, Laura competed here in Vancouver...we HAD to shoot again of course. Thanks to West Coast Iron for their hospitality...Laura even signed the "Pro" wall :) We've added a few photos from that shoot below as well. She'll be even better at the Olympia!
