2017 Popeye's Fall Classic
Bodybuilding, Physique, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Richmond, B.C. - Nov. 18, 2017)
The third year promoted by Tarik Rahiman and his Popeye's crew, the River Rock Casino Resort
was the venue. A bit more intimate setting this time, what with ongoing structural changes to
the sport in Canada and competitors weighing their choices, it was perfect for this event.
Bikini had some large and very competitive classes. 'C' Class winner Sarah Wright had a nice
combination of shape and muscle definition to take the Overall Open title.

Figure had a number of rookie competitors who really shone onstage. Open 'A' Class winner Sandra Landry had great conditioning and very proportional as
was 'C' Class and eventual overall winner Kaely Anderson. Kaely's previous appearance on this website was in Bikini at the NPC Vancouver USA Naturals in 2016. A year and a
half of great work to become a top contender in Figure!

Long time Figure competitor Jo-Ann Huber (a Provincial champion in Masters) brought a new element to her look...Women's Physique Champion
this time, it suited her very well!
