2015 NPC Tanji Johnson Classic
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Olympia, WA - June 20, 2015)
What can you say about Tanji Johnson that hasn't been said before? One of the most passionate
advocates for health and fitness and one of the most liked in the industry. Her first solo
promoting effort was done with style and pinache, a destination show in the future no doubt.
Competitors and friends came from as far away as Alaska, Florida and Canada to support this
event. Starting with Figure, a couple of real standouts led the way in the open and masters categories.
Laurie Fryar has been steadily moving up the ranks, started out in bikini. For a taller competitor
it's harder to get that 'X' shape but Laurie came pretty close, good size and lean muscle resulted
in Overall wins in both open and masters.

Alaska's state champ Sharlin Moldonado brought one of the most complete figure/physique packages to the stage, competing
as a Masters in the latter. She won that class as well as 1st Place in a large Figure Open 'A' Class. She's part of the
907 Muscle Girls Team which featured National level physique competitors Ida Litteral and Ashley Straw in the open class, they
placed 2nd and 3rd behind the ever improving Amy Luu! Speaking of far and wide, Canada's Trista Elaschuk rocked the Novice
Figure Class, looking poised and on point onstage taking the Overall title and 2nd in open figure! She's also scheduled to compete at the Alberta Provincials (Canada CBBF
Affiliated) the following weekend and coincidentally this reporter will also be there!

Bikini saw a couple of 'veterans' do well. Tiffany Manning's posing is beyond reproach. She took both
Open and Masters Overall titles. Elaine Jurun took 1st Place in Open Class 'A', further 'fine tuning'
her presentation, I'd say it's working! Novice Bikini Class winners Brea Taylor, Lauren Markle and Melanie Robb
all looked great, adding this division is a great idea! Official results and further information
