2021 NPC Tanji Johnson Classic Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships (Tacoma, WA - June 19, 2021) Returning to the roster of Northwest Shows after all the cancellations of 2020 was this special show incorporating the honoring of first responders, whether active or retired who put themselves in harms way in service to their country and citizenry. Sadly, the weekend earlier this very thing was brought to the forefront when Police Officer and former Fitness competitor Lexi Harris lost her life in service to her fellow citizens. We'll have more in terms of remembering her fitness career soon. Presented here is Session 2, featuring the Women's categories. To the show itself, a nice mix of experienced and novice competitors. Overall Bikini Champ Kimberly Lee confidently bested the field in both Open and Novice Divisions. Of note was ever improving Bounmy Savang, a strong 3 way battle in Open Class 'C' when you include 3rd placer Vanessa Arrotta with a well conditioned physique. She also competed in Wellness. Speaking of which, that category was won by stunning Huyen 'Emmy' Nguyen (Winzler) who also took her class in Open Bikini! Great seeing her back on stage. In the look out for the future category was True Novice winner Madelyn Dallas, very photogenic with a bikini model look which will prove a dynamite combination down the road as she expects to continue in the sport! Impressive Overall Masters Bikini winner Rebecca Ortiz too. Figure saw Parwati Martin take both Open and Novice titles.
