2026 NPC Tanji Johnson Classic Fit Model Championships (Tacoma, WA - June 20, 2026) Back in Tacoma, Washington for this show...the venue connected to the host hotel, The Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Fit Model continues to attract some stellar competitors and cementing its identity. Former Bikini competitors are adapting very nicely to the look. Foremost among them was Overall winner Melissa Bernal, so photogenic. Same for Jenna Conroy, the other Open Class winner. A very tough overall! Of note was stunning Emma Herro, great to see her back onstage. Getting better all the time was Rocio Cisneros Toscano, runner-up to Melissa in Open 'B'. Others of note included photogenic Top Gun Fitness competitors Nayeli Sargent, and while not placing where she'd hope, amazing model Krystal Towne who we had the pleasure of photographing both a week earlier and a couple days ahead of the show both outdoors and at the gym. A huge thanks to Tanji Johnson and her entire crew for putting on such a well run event. It's a continued privilege to be able to cover and publicize these shows for decades now.
