2020 NPC USA Championships
Masters Figure Over 40
(Tempe, Arizona - Dec. 11, 2020)
It's been way back in the film days in the early 2000's since we last attended a USA Championships...so much has changed since then and focus shifted. The
circumstances of 2020 aligned for a confluence of shows, initially in Las Vegas then partially shifting to Arizona. When all was said and done, this prestigious
event with 4 packed days of competition was another testament to "where there's a will, there's a way" and putting the athletes first! Picking particular
highlights was very tough, but the 40+ Figure (which culminated Day 2 of Masters) truly particularly stood out.

The fiercest battle was in Class 'C' where Overall Champion Angie Willson emerged from. Second placer Annenicole Dy had actually finished ahead of Angie the day before in the
35+ Division, but at this elite level, a tweak here and there whether it's in their physique, tan, etc. plus even a different judging panel can make all the difference. Both
were really dialed in both days! Second in the Overall rankings was 'B' Class winner Marlen Gonzalez, good proportionality accentuated by a wide back. Impressive runner-up
in this class was Christina Siegrist, nicely detailed physique!

Class 'A' winner Kenia Soto had a busy schedule, competing in 3 Divisions...and doing quite well in all of them. Class 'D' winner Kimberly Raby's well developed muscle size and shape
was impressive as well...we've used that word a lot :)
