2017 NPC Washington Ironman Naturally
Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Bothell, WA - October 7, 2017)
Conflicting dates with Official Photography duties in British Columbia (BCABBA) meant a three year hiatus from covering this event. One of the oldest and most prestigious
shows in the Northwest, promoters Brad & Elaine Craig always bring out some of the best and brightest Natural competitors in the region. Starting with Bikini, a stellar
group of 5 class winners vied for the Overall title. Oregon's Jenna Fiscus had a great combination of muscle shape, proportionality and stage presence to take the top
spot. 'E' Class winner Markie Williams continues to improve with Nationals in mind in a few short weeks. True Novice class winners Alexandra Frimu and Cara Cate plus
over 45 winner Julia Song rounded out the field.

Other notables in Bikini included Open Class 'D' competitors Amanda Chlipala and Alaska's Sarah Johnson (Masters and Open), nice detail to Sarah's physique...perhaps a bit overlooked from
this reporter's perspective, although she did receive a 1st place vote from one judge in both categories. Speaking of Alaska, was great to welcome the 907 Muscle Girls Team here led by
coach Cinzia Clapp.

Figure had a couple of the best competitors in the Masters 35+ class, notably Overall Open winner Amy Vogt and runner-up Sarah Oase.

It was a good day for Guam's Russky Peru, winning overall titles in both Classic Physique and Novice
Bodybuilding.
We'll have more on the show here as time permits. Thanks for NOT cropping watermarks if reposting photos
on social media. Official results and further information
