2019 NPC Washington Ironman Naturally Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships (Bothell, WA - October 5, 2019) Celebrating 40 years, the Washington Ironman continues to thrive as a Tested NPC show, the level of competition remaining high. The Women's categories were particularly front and center this time, with the 3M's of McDonald, Miller and Martin taking Overalls in Bikini, Figure and Open Women's Physique respectively. All three started their competitive careers in 2018, Novice/True Novice classes where applicable. All three are part of KO Fitness based in Bellingham, Washington. Bikini had 5 strong open classes, the aforementioned Kaylene McDonald winning 'C' Class and Overalls...of note was Alaska's Brooke Snyder (part of Team 907 Muscle Girls) winning 'D' Class, beautiful lines for this sport, a bright future ahead! Lauryn Ruiz brougt a toned, lean look to the stage, winning 'B' Class, Adrienne Hunter reprised her excellent placing from a week earlier at the NPC Northern Classic, winning both 'E' and Masters 35+ Classes. Natalie D'Amico, who also competed in Figure, took 'A' Class. Turning to Figure, super polished in all aspects of her look and presentation, Britney Miller was impressive taking the stage! A strong 'A' Class which included Lisa Leonard and teammate Jessica Martin. 'B' Class was won by Dana Tucker, nice proportions as always, just not quite as lean/detailed when compared to Britney and Jessica (who won Masters 35) during the Overall Comparison Round. Another strong placer in Figure was Team 907 Muscle Girls member, Colleen Kersgard, (representing Masters 45) in that Overalls lineup. She also took Novice and was runner-up in Open B. Speaking of Jessica Martin, she shined onstage in Women's Physique...transformed to a MUCH more fuller yet still chiseled look. If we had to choose one competitor who was litterally having the best time out there, it appeared to be Jessica, her enthusiasm for the sport is easily noticeable!
