2012 Western Canadian Tested
Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships
(Kelowna, B.C. - May 19, 2012)
One of the most competitive events ever in many categories, a record turnout brought out
some of the best physiques around in a bid to move up to Provincials. As usual, promoter
Ian Tomlin and Your Gym Bag
did a great job. Official results are available at the BCABBA
website. I'll slowly have more coverage here. Starting with Figure, amazingly symmetrical Laura Hamilton took the
overall title, each class had some strong contenders as well.

In bikini, first time competitor Elle Iakovenko dazzled the audience with a look tailor made for the sport. A real
fitness superstar in the making!

And in bodybuilding, not often that the Junior Bodybuilder steals the limelight. LeeAnn Harper had that look
reminiscent of the early days of women's bodybuilding. A great asset to the sport as she continues to progress!
Only 3 fitness competitors but good routines.
