2023 NPC Wasatch Warrior Show Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships (Salt Lake City, Utah - April 15, 2023) First time covering this event, ostensibly there for the IFBB part of it for Muscle Insider but the NPC competition was noteworthy as well! A new venue, and promoter Robyn Maher and her team handled it exceptionally, could not have asked for a better welcome as a media person. Time permitting we'll add more to this page, starting with the Open Women's major categories. Bikini saw some familiar faces, National level competitors included Georganna Dees and Steph Ashley, both of which we'd done gym shoots with in the past. No surprise they battled it out for the overall, but some excellent physiques in the other open classes, such as Danica Stoelk in 'A', Katriona Aromin in 'C' and Rebecca Orr in 'H' (Masters too). Figure rewarded the lone Fitness competitor, Darci Kuttler with the Overall Open award, nice shape for the division...and btw an excellent Fitness Routine! Turning to Wellness, Open 'B' Champion Iris Wright had the 'look' for the category, well developed muscle size and shape. Brisa Penecale was impressive in winning Open 'A' class, a sleek, photogenic competitor. Thanks again to promoter Robyn Maher, was a pleasure all around!
