2002 NPC Emerald Cup Heavyweight - 4th to 8th Places The rest of this class was no less impressive than the top finishers. Bodes well for the future as the Emerald Cup has a history of non-placers doing well in subsequent years. (click thumbnail to enlarge)

Patty Philpot - 4th Place
Patty was in the midst of a series of competitions,
the Jr. USA's being a week later. Always looks great,
even as a spectator several weeks later.

Rebecca Warren - 5th Place
As the story goes, had a camera breakdown at the
2001 Northwest just as Rebecca was posing and didn't get any
pictures. Making up for it here, fitting that she's wearing
the red, white and blue ribbon of last September, picking
up where we left off. Nice touch.

Monica Thomason - 6th Place
It's a shame that Monica didn't get to do her
posing routine. Looked absolutely awesome, great abs,
biceps, you name it and a nice choice of posing suit.
Hope she continues in the sport.

Merry Christine Harris - 7th Place
We chuckled last October about Merry going after
the upcoming 2002 Emerald Cup title. True to
form this designer extraordinaire of posing
suits came in terrific shape, by far the best
I've seen her in. Great accomplishment!

Charlotte Campbell - 8th Place
I recall an interesting back pose from 1999
bending forward - it's elsewhere on the website.
I'll have to rescan it <g> one of these days.
