2021 NPC Emerald Cup Bikini Championships - Taylor Schmidt (Bellevue, WA - April 24, 2021) Our coverage of competitions extends beyond the stage, whether here or on social media, and Emerald Cup was no different. We promptly headed south to Portland and follow up shoots with Emerald Cup standout Taylor Schmidt. First and foremost an athletic look. Combine that with photogenic stage presence and a confidence seen in seasoned competitors and you've got a recipe to do very well in this sport AND industry. A huge thanks to O'Malley's Gym in Troutdale, Oregon for the gym shoot location. It's an amazing facility! Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with both at the gym and on location, the results speak for themselves. Her previous competition was R.K. Smith Productions 2019 NPC Battle For The Eagle, where she placed 2nd in her Bikini Class. She's made great improvements to her look since then and not far fetched at all for her to do very well at her first Pro Qualifier, NPC USA's. Hopefully another followup shoot in the near future. Taylor's Novice class included stunning Natalie Reed...we'll have more from her soon, and in Open Class was top regional competitor Rachelle Hansen who placed 2nd by only 1 point!
