2021 NPC Emerald Cup
Bikini Championships
(Bellevue, WA - April 24, 2021)
As this tumultuous year plus of sometimes uncertainty continues, a definite sense of 'normalcy' returned to the Pacific Northwest with a familiar stage, even
with reduced audience size and vendor expo, a hallmark of past shows, an annual rekindling of friendships still happens...like clockwork! The Craigs have done a masterful
job guiding this ship for the last 40 years, as a transition to new ownership under the VERY capable hands of Ribic Productions is taking place. While participation
was understandably lower this year, the quality of competition DID NOT disappoint! In Open Bikini, Isamar Hansen continues her climb to the top...no doubt a Pro
Card in the near future. We're following her journey with a photoshoot or two as well. Stay tuned for updates!

Following up Kimber Buehler's impressive win at the recently held Vancouver Open, she took Open 'A' Class here and was runner-up in the Overall Standings. A solid foundation
to build on, she too as an experienced competitor is eyening a Pro Card soon! Of note in her class was Natalie Reed placing 2nd, a 'chiseled' physique and one to watch as
this event also saw her do well in her Novice Class.
|
The next two 'Overall placers' are very much Novice in terms of experience but on the fast track to do very well in the sport. Beautiful lines on Breann Morren winning
all 3 classes entered, plus a solid, shapely and photogenic Taylor Schmidt. Additional content from these future stars is a given...we're trying our best to properly
cover these fantastic events despite all the
cross border travel restrictions in place at the time of this writing.
|
Other notables who found themselves in VERY tough open classes were Rachelle Hansen, Taylor Jackson and Madeline Tate Donley, exceptional physiques...plus so many new to the sport whom we'll no doubt become familiar with as the contest season rolls on. Many from this show with solid performances will be at the Empire Classic just two weeks later and will be covered here...look out for Anna Drapeau, Tylar Stephenson, Jasmine Averill (Open Class winner here) and Alex Whitney for starters, should be a great event!

A huge thanks to Promoters Ribic & Craig Productions, volunteers and the dedicated competitors who keep this sport growing.
The Pacific Northwest is a special place when it comes to the NPC community with everybody pitching in
to make each others' shows as successful as possible. It's a continued privilege to be able to
cover and publicize these shows for decades now. We'll have more on the show here in general as time permits.
